The best way to help you decide if a school is right for your child, is to visit it. Give us a call and come and have a look around, meet our teachers and see what we can offer your child. We pride ourselves on helping your child reach their full potential. New enrolments are always welcome.  

Karangahake School has been instructed by the Ministry of Education to manage its roll to prevent overcrowding by using an enrolment scheme.

New Entrant School Visits

When children are 5 or 6 years old and are getting close to starting school (about 2 weeks before) we encourage school visits. 

Children will spend time in Awa class in the mornings from 9am - 10am. At first an hour visit is good as children can get tired, the next visit can be longer if that suits the child/parent and teacher.

Visits are made so that it suits the parent/caregiver and the teacher and the most suitable days will be arranged.

We encourage parents/caregivers to have their children start school at the start of the school term after their birthday.
